Settlement Worker in Schools (SWIS)
Newcomer parents and children often require assistance so they feel comfortable with their new school. MJMC works collaboratively with the schools in Moose Jaw to help newcomers understand the requirements of the school such as permission forms, fees, school supplies and enrollment.

Enhanced Assessment and Referral-all new clients may participate in this intake process that will identify any barriers that may keep newcomers from achieving goals such as language training or employment.
