To be eligible for citizenship, a permanent resident must have been in Canada for three consecutive years. Applications for citizenship are available at Citizenship and Immigration Canada. MJMC offers citizenship preparation classes.

The Moose Jaw Multicultural Council also coordinates testing and citizenship ceremonies.
